nVent is offering a Mobile Robotics & Automation Internship based in Anoka, MN for the summer of 2027. This 12-week, full-time internship provides exposure to production automation projects, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on development with cobots.

Interns receive paid time off, housing support eligibility, and the potential for future opportunities. Ideal candidates are engineering students with strong communication and detail-oriented skills, willing to learn, and able to work

Qualifications

Currently pursuing an engineering or related major (ME/EE/CE/CS/IE/Robotics).
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future; no sponsorship.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Attention to detail and organization skills.
Willingness to learn and collaborate with all levels.
Energy to learn and adapt through change.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify production automation needs.
Assist planning and implementation of capital projects for automation.
Develop standard documents to support automated processes.
Experiment with cobots and develop use cases for R&D or Production.
Partner with peers to achieve process excellence.
