Job summary

Etna Supply is seeking a Robotics Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to support the operation and continuous improvement of robotic systems in a manufacturing setting. The role involves assisting with the AWL project, equipment testing, and data-driven productivity improvements.

The position offers hands-on exposure to robotics, automation, and collaboration with engineering, production, maintenance, and vendor teams. Compensation is negotiable and a strong learning environment is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with equipment evaluation, testing, installation, and integration for the AWL project.
• Observe and assist with troubleshooting robotic and automated equipment with internal teams and partners.
• Help develop preventive-maintenance docs, SOPs, visual work instructions, and training materials.
• Collect and organize equipment performance data to support quality and productivity improvements.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement activities.
• Read technical drawings, manuals, and procedures to support projects.
• Document findings and communicate progress to leadership.
• Report deficiencies and safety concerns promptly.
• Provide professional support to coworkers, customers, and partners.
