Job summary

Symbotic in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an Automation Maintenance Technician to repair and calibrate its automated systems, including Automated Adapters, Vertical Lifts, and robotic vehicles. You will become the system expert for mechanical, PLC, electrical subsystems and ensure ongoing upkeep and safe operation within a high-density material handling environment.

The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent, at least 1 year in mechanical automation, strong electro-mechanical skills, safety

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience/certification in electronics, automation or manufacturing.
• 1 year of experience with mechanical automation systems or equivalent training.
• Strong electro-mechanical skills and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and calibrate automated storage and retrieval systems, adapters and lifts.
• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical and PLC subsystems; replace/repair components.
• Document repairs in the CMMS and communicate maintenance actions to the team.
• Operate automated systems and maintain 5S standards on site.
• Work on a dynamic construction-like environment with PPE and safety protocols.
