Job summary

Symbotic is seeking an Automation Maintenance Technician I to repair and calibrate its automated systems on site in Las Vegas. You will become the system expert for mechanical, PLC, electrical subsystems and interface equipment used with the Symbotic platform.

Join the Customer Operations team to lead daily operations, ensure safety, drive quality, and maintain system performance on high-density robotic material handling. On-site only, requiring rigorous adherence to 5S and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in electronics, automation, manufacturing or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience with mechanical automation systems.
• Strong electro-mechanical, PLC knowledge.
• Ability to work without direct supervision following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety commitments per OSHA, Symbotic, and customer processes are met daily.
• Inspect systems associated with AS/RS, automated adapters and lifts.
• Adjust, calibrate, repair, replace or modify system components to support operations.
• Monitor flow of the AS/RS through adapters to maximize throughput.
