Job summary

Symbotic LLC is seeking an Automation Maintenance Technician at all levels to repair, calibrate and maintain its automated storage and retrieval systems and robotics. You will be responsible for system upkeep of adapters, lifts, and robotic vehicles, including PLC, electrical and mechanical subsystems.

You’ll work on-site with a dynamic team, perform inspections, troubleshoot anomalies, document repairs in CMMS and support continuous operation to maximize throughput while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certification in electronics, automation, manufacturing or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with mechanical automation systems and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on systems associated with Automated Storage and Retrieval System and automated adapters/lifts.
• Lead continuous operation by adjusting, calibrating, repairing, replacing or modifying system components.
• Process and monitor the flow of the system to achieve maximum throughput.
• Troubleshoot robotic vehicle anomalies using diagrams and test equipment.
• Document repairs, parts used and labor in CMMS.
• Communicate production-impacting problems and actions to the team.
