Job summary

Symbotic is seeking an Automation Maintenance Technician to repair and calibrate its automated systems including Adapters, Vertical Lifts and robotic vehicles. You will become the system expert for electrical, mechanical, and PLC subsystems while maintaining CMMS documentation.

The role requires an associate-degree-equivalent in electronics or automation and at least 1 year of experience with mechanical automation, with strong electro-mechanical skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in electronics, automotive, automation, manufacturing or equivalent field preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience with mechanical automation systems.
• Strong electro-mechanical skills.
• Able to read and follow procedures and manuals.
• Must be literate in English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Repair and calibrate automated and robotic systems (Adapters, Lifts, robotic vehicles).
• Inspect systems and perform maintenance per CMMS.
• Troubleshoot PLC and electro-mechanical components.
• Document actions, parts used and labor.
• Operate automated systems and communicate issues to team.
• Assist with minor utility work and 5S adherence.
