Job summary

Accenture in Ohio seeks a Robotics Automation Engineer to design, program and deploy industrial robots, AMRs/AGVs, and related automation across manufacturing, warehousing and logistics environments.

You will integrate robots with end effectors, safety systems, PLCs and MES, and develop control logic using ROS/ROS 2, Python and C++. Travel up to 75% is expected for project deployments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in robotics automation, robot programming, or autonomous systems.
• Hands-on experience with at least one industrial robot or cobot.
• Understanding of robotics fundamentals: coordinates, motion, sensors, safety.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, configure and deploy industrial robots, AMRs/AGVs, and related automation.
• Integrate robots with end effectors, conveyors, safety systems, PLCs, SCADA, MES, WMS and ERP.
• Develop robot programs, control logic and interfaces using ROS/ROS 2, Python or C++.
• Support cell design, layout validation, safety assessment and equipment selection with engineering partners.
• Use digital twins and simulation for offline programming and virtual commissioning.
• Collaborate with Physical AI architects and OT teams during deployment and testing.
