Job summary

Accenture seeks a Robotics Automation Engineer to design, program and deploy robotic systems across manufacturing, warehousing and logistics environments. You will integrate robots with safety, vision, PLCs and ERP interfaces while using ROS/ROS 2, Python and C++ to build scalable production solutions.

You will work with digital twins, simulation, and fleet orchestration to reduce deployment risk and improve performance. Travel up to 75% is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in robotics automation or related deployments.
• Hands-on experience with at least one industrial robot brand such as FANUC, ABB, KUKA or Universal Robots.
• Understanding of robotics fundamentals including coordinate frames, kinematics and motion.
• Experience integrating robotics with automation equipment, software or processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, troubleshoot hardware and software, and work safely.
• Working awareness of the broader Physical AI lifecycle and simulation/orchestration concepts.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years).

Responsibilities

• Design, program, configure and deploy industrial robots, cobots or AMRs/AGVs.
• Integrate robots with end effectors, safety systems, PLCs and MES/ERP interfaces.
• Develop robot programs and control logic using ROS/ROS 2, Python or C++.
• Support cell design, layout validation, safety assessment and equipment selection.
• Use digital twins and simulation for offline programming and testing.
• Collaborate with OT teams, automation partners and robotics ecosystem.
• Document programs, test evidence, and runbooks for production readiness.
