Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Robotics Automation Engineer to design, program and deploy robotic systems for manufacturing, warehousing and logistics. The role emphasizes safe, scalable production automation using ROS/ROS 2, Python and C++, with integration to PLCs, SCADA, MES, WMS and ERP. Travel up to 75% is expected.

Minimum 3 years in robotics automation and hands-on experience with at least one industrial robot or cobot. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant robotics automation experience.
• Hands-on with at least one industrial robot or cobot such as FANUC/ABB/KUKA/UR.
• Understanding of robotics fundamentals and safe operation.
• Experience integrating robotics with automation software and processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, configure and deploy industrial robots and related automation.
• Integrate robots with end effectors, conveyors, safety systems, and MES/ERP.
• Develop robot programs and control logic using Python, C++, ROS/ROS 2.
• Support cell design, layout validation, safety assessments and tooling specs.
• Use digital twins and simulation for offline programming and validation.
• Support robotics intelligence such as perception, localization, SLAM and motion planning.
• Document programs, interfaces, configurations, and runbooks.
• Collaborate with OT teams, robotics architects and client operations.
