Job summary

Accenture seeks a Robotics Automation Engineer to design, program, integrate and support robotic automation across manufacturing, warehousing and logistics. You’ll work with industrial robots, AMRs/AGVs, and automation platforms to deliver safe, reliable production systems.

The role requires hands-on robotics development, knowledge of ROS/ROS 2, Python and C++, plus experience with robot integration, safety reviews and optimization studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; minimum 12 years of work experience if using an associate degree.
• 3+ years of robotics automation experience including robot programming and integration.
• Experience with AMR/AGV deployment and autonomous systems is required.
• Hands-on with industrial robots and related automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, configure and deploy industrial robots, collaborative robots, AMRs/AGVs, mobile manipulation and related robotic automation.
• Integrate robots with end effectors, conveyors, safety systems, machine vision, sensors, PLCs, SCADA, MES, WMS, ERP and site workflows.
• Develop robot programs, control logic, interfaces and adapters using OEM tools, ROS/ROS 2, Python, C++ or relevant automation technologies.
• Support cell design, layout validation, safety assessment and equipment selection with engineering partners.
• Use digital twins and simulation for offline programming, layout validation, process testing and virtual commissioning.
• Collaborate with Physical AI architects and OT teams to deploy robotics solutions.
• Document robot programs, interfaces and test evidence; provide post-go-live support.
