Job summary

Accenture seeks a Robotics Automation Engineer to design, program, integrate and deploy robotic systems across manufacturing, warehousing and logistics environments. The role emphasizes safe, scalable production systems, leveraging digital twins, simulation and AI-enabled workflows.

Travel is required up to 75% to support client sites and deployments. Bachelor's degree or equivalent is expected; prior hands-on robot experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant robotics automation experience.
• Hands-on experience with at least one industrial robot or cobot (FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Universal Robots).
• Understanding of robotics fundamentals: coordinates, kinematics, motion, sensors, controls, safe operation.
• Experience integrating robotics with automation equipment or processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and troubleshoot across hardware and software.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, configure and deploy industrial robots and AMRs/AGVs.
• Integrate robots with conveyors, safety systems, and ERP/MES/WMS.
• Develop robot programs and control logic using OEM tools and ROS/ROS 2.
• Support cell design, layout validation, safety assessment and equipment selection.
• Use digital twins and simulation for offline programming and virtual commissioning.
