Job summary

Hillphoenix is seeking an Assembler I in South Chesterfield, VA. The position involves programming, operating, and basic troubleshooting for automated and/or robotic machinery to assemble sheet metal refrigerated cases.

Sunrise shift is 1st shift, 6am–2:30pm, with growth opportunities within a growing manufacturing team. The role emphasizes accurate reading of orders, precise measurement, and teamwork with assembly teammates to complete units.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• May be required to stand, bend, lift, push, pull, squat or kneel.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work environment includes temperature variations, chemicals, and noise.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend an A order and work order.
• Identify parts and their placement on the product line.
• Use hand or power tools to assemble components.
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets, or fasteners.
• Work at different stations and as part of the assembly team.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tooling.
