Job summary

Dover Food Retail in South Chesterfield, VA is seeking an Assembler II for 1st shift (6am–2:30pm). You will program, operate, and troubleshoot automated/robotic machinery for sheet metal refrigerated cases and assemble components per work orders.

Requirements include a HS diploma/GED, prior manufacturing experience preferred, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend an “A” order.
• Identify parts and their placement on the product.
• Read and comprehend the work order.
• Assemble using bolts, screws, rivets or fasteners.
• Read rulers and measuring instruments for accuracy.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment and tooling.
