Job summary

Dover Food Retail seeks an Assembler II for our South Chesterfield, Virginia facility. You will program, operate, and troubleshoot automated/robotic machinery to produce sheet metal refrigerated cases. First shift is 6am–2:30pm, with team-based assembly and ongoing quality focus.

Qualified candidates have a HS Diploma/GED and manufacturing exposure; ability to lift up to 50 lbs, read work orders, and use measuring tools in a production environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work with production tools.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend an 'A' order and work order.
• Identify parts and their placement on the product line.
• Identify tools used on the line and use hand/power tools.
• Read rulers and measuring devices to verify dimensions.
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets or speed clips.
• Work at different stations as production needs require.
• Participate in team assembly to complete units.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tooling.
