Job summary

You will read work orders, identify parts and tools, and assemble components on your line. The position requires a HS Diploma/GED, prior manufacturing experience preferred, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs in a production setting with varying

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in a production environment with temperature variations, chemicals, noise and dust.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend an “A” order.
• Identify parts used on their line and their placement on the product.
• Identify power and hand tools used on the line.
• Read and comprehend the work order.
• Assemble using hand or power tools.
• Identify parts and part descriptions from work orders.
• Use gauging and measurement data to set up parts.
• Read rulers, tape measures and other instruments.
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets or fasteners.
• Work at different stations as production needs require.
• Be part of an assembly team to complete units.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tooling.
