Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking an Assembler I for the 1st shift in South Chesterfield, VA. The role involves programming, operating, and basic troubleshooting of automated and robotic machinery for sheet metal refrigerated cases.

You will read and interpret orders, select parts, and use measuring tools to ensure precise assembly. Candidates should have a HS Diploma/GED and prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand/walk for long periods in a production environment.
• Subject to temperature variations, noise, dust and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend an A order and work order.
• Identify parts and parts descriptions on the line; use measuring tools.
• Assemble components with bolts, screws, rivets or fasteners.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tooling.
