Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a warehouse associate in Robards, KY to operate a pallet jack, load/unload pallets, and move goods to designated areas. The role includes maintaining safety standards, performing required logs, and working on the 2nd shift in a cold, wet environment.

Candidates should have at least 3 months of prior work history with a single employer, be able to lift up to 70 pounds, and obtain a pallet jack license with battery change training.

Job Details: This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while using a hand pallet jack while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

• Perform various positions as required/assigned

Description

This position is responsible for providing operating jack on a daily basis in the Ground Dark Meat.

Tasks

• This position is responsible for loading and unloading combos, skids, and moving product to necessary location.
• The position must be to obtain jack driver license and able to change battery as needed (training will available).
• Must also be able to maneuver pallet jack around tables and belts, be able to continuously grip control handle of the jack, driver must be aware of all obstacles in all areas of travel, and any other duties assigned by Manager.
• This position is also required to complete various log sheets.
• This position will be exposed to possible cold temperatures, and wet conditions.
• This position will require walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 70 pounds on a frequent basis.
• Must have 3 months of work history with one employer listed on the application.
• Prefer 3 months of operator experience.
