Job summary

Fairway Management, a JES Holdings division, seeks a Roaming Maintenance Tech to support regional properties. You will perform routine maintenance, rough carpentry, painting, and basic repairs while traveling within the region and ensuring safety compliance during inspections.

You will lead make-ready tasks and maintain curb appeal across communities. This role requires 5 years of maintenance experience, HVAC expertise (EPA Type II and 608), and the ability to work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

High School diploma or the equivalent.
5 years of multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance experience.
HVAC EPA Type II Certification.
Must have 1 to 2 years of verifiable HVAC troubleshooting, repairs, and installation experience.
Must have working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and building operating systems.

Responsibilities

Travel daily within region to properties.
Lead make ready process with unit turns, including painting and carpet cleaning.
Prepare for state agency and investor inspections and ensure OSHA/EPA compliance.
Prioritize and manage work orders for assigned properties.
Maintain exceptional curb appeal and property condition.
Be available for on-call after hours.
Train assigned staff on maintenance systems and safety.
