Zusammenfassung

RailPros seeks a Roadway Worker in Charge (RWIC) to perform on-site roadway worker protection on and around live railroad tracks. The RWIC coordinates job sites, dispatcher communications, and various types of On-Track Safety in both controlled and non-controlled track areas.

Essential duties include jobsite protection, daily briefings, form submission, and sign/derail handling. This role requires travel across several states and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with maintenance in way (MOW) or TY&E preferred.
• Strong communication and safety-focused mindset.

Aufgaben

• Provide required jobsite protection on each assignment per rules, coordinating with dispatchers and engineers.
• Conduct daily job briefings with all on-site personnel to ensure safety compliance.
• Prepare and submit electronic forms for job setup, reports, and invoices.
• Place signs, derails, and other equipment as needed and within safety limits.
• Maintain clear communication with RWIC supervisors regarding schedules and assignments.
• Travel regularly across designated states to support projects.
