Job summary

Qualifications

• No minimum training or experience requirements for this classification.
• Requires a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Must attain a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within six months of placement.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on catch basins and drainage structures.
• Operate small equipment and power tools to complete maintenance tasks.
• Assist with placement of traffic control devices to set up maintenance zones.
• Serve as a flagger to safely direct traffic in work zones.
• Perform litter and debris pickup and general cleaning of site.
• Provide asphalt and concrete pavement repair and preservation using proper techniques.
• Assist in emergency and inclement weather operations as needed.
