Job summary

The South Carolina Department of Transportation seeks a maintenance worker to perform a wide range of road and bridge maintenance tasks under supervision. You will operate dump trucks and other heavy equipment, install and repair road signs, and assist with vegetation, drainage, and paving work.

You must hold a valid driver's license; a Class A CDL must be obtained within six months. The job may require extended hours, work outdoors in all weather, and exposure to traffic and hazardous
