Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• CDL written exam is required before hire; tanker endorsement and Class B interstate status within 60 days of hire.
• Must pass work simulation and medical-physical exams.

Responsibilities

• Maintains state highway systems: joints, potholes, traffic control devices, and debris removal.
• Maintenance of highway facilities: signs, guardrails, curbs, painting, servicing equipment.
• Operate vehicles to transport personnel/equipment and perform snow/ice control operations.
• May repair bridge decks and drains; install/maintain signs and posts.
