Responsibilities

• Maintains state highway systems, including filling joints, patching potholes, flagging traffic, and setup of traffic control devices.
• Maintains and repairs state highway facilities and equipment.
• Operates vehicles to transport people and materials, including snow plowing and ice control.
• May repair bridge decks and drains and work at heights using ladders or scaffolding.
• May install signs, pour concrete footings, weld posts, and maintain signs.
