Qualifications

• Successful completion of a work simulation and medical-physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Maintain state highway systems, fill joints/cracks, patch potholes, and manage traffic control devices.
• Maintain, clean, repair highway facilities and signage; clean curbs and gutters; service equipment.
• Operate vehicles to transport personnel and materials, plow snow, spread ice control materials.
• May repair bridges, drains; work at heights using ladders or scaffolding.
• Install and inspect signs, and repair sign posts.
