Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Transportation Equipment Operator Trainee Program, or graduation from a CDL Training School, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• All permanent employees must obtain an active CDL and related certifications within the probationary period.
• Requires an active Medical Examiner's Certificate and Pennsylvania Class A or B CDL with Air Brake Restriction removed.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery for roadway upkeep and construction activities
• Clear snow and manage icy conditions during winter storms
• Complete regular inspections and minor repairs on vehicles and equipment
• Maintain accurate daily logs and reports for equipment use and completed repairs
• Work closely with crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently
