Job summary

The role emphasizes a seller-doer leadership model, involvement in design, reviews, and pursuits, and opportunities to grow the ND transportation practice across public agencies.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field required in North Dakota.
• PTOE, AICP, or other credentials may be considered depending on background and role alignment.
• Minimum of 8+ years in transportation engineering or roadway design required.
• Experience supporting NDDOT/local agencies preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical work while mentoring staff.
• Must be authorized to work permanently in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead and review transportation design work across planning, design, and construction support.
• Provide technical guidance for roadway design and multidisciplinary coordination to meet client needs.
• Mentor staff and develop engineers through project assignments and feedback.
• Support pursuits and client relationships through a seller-doer approach and business development activities.
• Collaborate with project managers and leaders to balance scope, schedule, and budget while delivering quality.
