Job summary

Benesch is hiring a Transportation Engineering - Highway/Roadway Internship. Based in Milwaukee, WI or Madison, WI, you’ll contribute to highway and roadway design, traffic analysis, and plan preparation under senior engineers.

This internship offers hands-on software training and project delivery experience. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Civil Engineering degree, with interest in transportation engineering, and familiarity with MicroStation or AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Strong interest in highway, roadway, or transportation engineering
• Familiarity with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D (Geopak/3D modeling a plus, not required)
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Organizational skills to handle multiple assignments
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to project sites
