Job summary

Benesch is seeking a Civil Intern (Highway/Roadway) to join our Transportation and Highway Design team in Pottsville, PA this summer. You will contribute to highway design, traffic analysis, and plan preparation under the guidance of seasoned engineers.

We look for students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering, with interest in transportation engineering and familiarity with MicroStation or AutoCAD Civil 3D. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Strong interest in highway, roadway, or transportation engineering.
• Familiarity with design software such as MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Organizational skills to handle multiple assignments efficiently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from project sites.
