Job summary

Benesch is seeking a Transportation Engineering intern to contribute to roadway and highway design projects in Chicago. You will assist with design tasks, traffic analysis, and plan preparation under the guidance of senior engineers, gaining exposure to real project delivery during Summer 2027.

You'll work with a dynamic team on designs and drawings, using MicroStation and AutoCAD Civil 3D, while building strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills in a supportive, mentor-led

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Familiarity with design software such as MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Organizational skills to handle multiple assignments.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
