Job summary

Benesch is hiring a Civil Intern (Highway/Roadway) to join our respected planning, engineering, and professional services firm. The internship is based in our Pittsburgh, PA office, with mentorship from senior engineers and exposure to project sites.

Candidates should be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering, with interest in highway and transportation engineering, and familiarity with MicroStation or AutoCAD Civil 3D. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Strong interest in highway, roadway, or transportation engineering.
• Familiarity with design software such as MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D (Geopak or 3D Modeling experience a plus, but not required).
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Organizational skills to handle multiple assignments efficiently.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from project sites.
