Job summary

Benesch, a multidisciplinary planning, engineering and professional services firm, invites candidates for a Summer Roadway/Highway Design Internship. Based in Kansas with offices in Kansas City, Manhattan, Overland Park or Wichita, you will contribute to highway design, traffic analysis and plan preparation under the guidance of senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Strong interest in highway, roadway, or transportation engineering.
• Familiarity with design software such as MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Assist highway/roadway design projects and related tasks.
• Support traffic analysis and plan preparation efforts.
• Gain hands-on experience with engineering design software and project delivery.
• Collaborate with transportation design professionals on live projects.
