Job summary

Benesch is hiring a Civil Intern (Highway/Roadway) for summer 2026. Work with our Transportation and Highway Design team on roadway projects, traffic analysis, and plan preparation in Kansas-based offices.

Develop hands-on experience using MicroStation and AutoCAD Civil 3D while collaborating with seasoned engineers. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Civil Engineering degree, have strong communication and teamwork skills, and can manage multiple tasks with organization, including reliable

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Strong interest in highway, roadway, or transportation engineering.
• Familiarity with design software such as MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Assist with highway and roadway design, traffic analysis, and plan preparation.
• Gain hands-on experience in engineering design software and collaborative project delivery.
