Job summary

AAA Club Alliance in Chester, VA is hiring full-time Roadside Tow Truck Technicians to join our Roadside Assistance team. You will provide tow, lock-out, fuel delivery, battery jump starts, and tire changes, while communicating clearly with members to ensure safety and satisfaction.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, DOT-physical eligibility, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Paid training, benefits, and opportunities for overtime and bonuses are included.

Qualifications

• Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license for the state.
• 3 years of experience in automotive/mechanical environment, or 3 years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
• Ability to pass a physical examination on a bi-annual basis as required by DOT and/or company policy.
• Satisfactory pre- and post-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide tow and recovery services using established guidelines and quality control procedures.
• Provide lock-out, fuel delivery, battery jump starts and tire change services.
• Communicate with members effectively to keep them informed and safe.
• Enter call information accurately into in-truck technology and process payments as required.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure safety and securing of fleet equipment.
