Job summary

The Auto Club Group (ACG) is seeking a Service Vehicle Operator to join our roadside assistance team in North Charleston, SC. This on-site role involves responding to member calls, performing jump-starts, tire changes, fuel delivery, and safe towing while upholding AAA service standards.

You will work a flexible schedule, include evenings and weekends, and participate in DOT inspections and vehicle maintenance reporting. Training is provided and safety is the top priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record.
• Drug screening, MVRO, background check and DOT physical required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside assistance requests using a tow truck or service vehicle.
• Provide emergency roadside services (tire changes, fuel delivery, battery testing/installation, jump starts, lockout).
• Safely tow disabled vehicles following procedures.
• Verify AAA membership and deliver excellent customer service.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections; document activities and logs.
