Job summary

The Auto Club Group (ACG) is seeking a Service Vehicle Operator to respond to AAA member service calls, perform roadside tasks and light towing, and ensure safe driving. You’ll work on the road, handle GPS-guided directions, and deliver exceptional customer service daily.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, DOT readiness, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Competitive hourly pay with benefits and sign-on bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and valid driver’s license.
• Pre-employment drug screen, MVR, background check, and DOT physical.
• Ability to work independently with sound field decisions.
• Comfort with GPS, tablets, and mobile apps for service updates.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and operate roadside equipment as needed.
• Completion of AAA training programs is required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside assistance requests using a tow or service vehicle.
• Provide services including tire changes, fuel delivery, jump starts, lockouts, and minor repairs.
• Safely tow disabled vehicles following procedures and guidelines.
• Verify membership and deliver excellent customer service.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections and document issues.
• Maintain a clean, professional service vehicle and manage records.
• Use tablets to manage calls and update service requests.
