Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring a Roadside Technician to respond to tire failures for semi-truck fleets. You will be dispatched to customer locations to repair or replace tires, with on-call shifts and after-hours coverage.

No prior experience is required; training will be provided. The role includes shop support duties when calls are quiet and participation in a benefits program including medical and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required for service at customer locations.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Commitment to safety policies and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside tire failures and repair or replace tires for semi-truck fleets.
• Mount, dismount, and balance tires; perform match mounting and radial runout checks.
• Inflate tires to prescribed PSI and ensure load requirements.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and assist with other duties as needed.
