The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Roadside Technician to respond to tire-related failures at customer locations. You will be dispatched to assist semi-truck fleets, with training provided where needed and a mandatory on-call rotation. Typical duties include mounting, repairs, and support tasks at times when service calls are pending.
No prior experience required; you will be trained. Eligible candidates must be 21+, hold a valid driver's license and work legally in the U.S.
Qualifications
- Experience isn't required for this position. You will be trained in any skills required.
- Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future
- Preferred High School Diploma or GED
Responsabilités
- Servicing Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
- Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
- Inflating of tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
- Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements including proper PPE and tire cages.
