Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Roadside Technician to respond to tire-related failures for our semi-truck fleets. You will be dispatched to customer locations to repair or replace tires, often roadside, and may help in shop duties when no service calls are pending.

No prior experience is required; training is provided. The role includes an on-call rotation with after-hours coverage and a benefits package: medical, 401(k) with company match, and tire discounts.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Servicing commercial tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing tires.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements including PPE usage and safety procedures
