Job summary

Cox Automotive Fleet is seeking a detail-oriented Roadside Event Specialist II to join our team in Omaha. You will help manage large-scale events and campaigns, coordinating with drivers, customers and service providers to maintain open events and ensure smooth operation.

You will handle high-dollar repair approvals, urgent repairs, and ensure estimates and customer instructions are accurate and followed. The role offers professional development and a comprehensive benefits package, with a focus

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years of related experience (logistics, transportation, automotive).
• At least 1 year of Cox Fleet experience as a Follow Up, Breakdown Specialist, or Managed Care preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for data entry, word processing and email.
• Excellent communication by phone, email and in person.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational needs of major events, including high-value repair approvals and serious situations like accidents and impounds.
• Ensure timely response for repairs and adherence to customer instructions for equipment.
• Ensure estimates are handled accurately.
• Communicate directly with customers, drivers, service providers and coworkers.
• Ensure customer protocol is followed at the highest level.
• Ensure correct billing is selected and communicated with service providers.
