Job summary

Maverick Transportation, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to manage field breakdowns affecting product delivery. You will coordinate with drivers and vendors, log incidents, and use maintenance software to ensure timely payments and repairs.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with related education and 1–2 years of experience, preferably in mechanical or road assistance. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 3pm–midnight in an office setting.

Qualifications

• High school or GED plus additional education in a specialized field (vocational trade school, two-year college, etc.) plus 1-2 years related experience and/or training.
• Prefer one year of mechanical or road assistant experience and at least a "B" Level Technician or equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Time effective reception of breakdowns for drivers with mechanical breakdowns, DOT violations, and other emergency issues needing roadside assistance.
• Coordinate with drivers and vendors in a courteous and professional manner and update maintenance software with accurate information.
• Provide real-time updates including ETAs, timelines, vendor communications, parts/labor costing, delays and reasons to relevant parties.
• Assist in creation and execution of department action plans aligning with the company’s strategic business plan.
