Job summary

I-77 Mobility Partners LLC is seeking a Roadside Assistance Technician to operate a well-equipped vehicle for roadside assistance and incident management along the I-77 Express lanes, coordinating with a Traffic Management Center dispatcher and maintenance staff. This role requires 24/7/365 coverage with a four-week training in Raleigh.

After training, shifts may include nights and weekends, with safety and customer service emphasized throughout.

Qualifications

• Tentative customer service and communication requirements.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of automotive mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Operates assigned roadside assistance vehicles and supports traffic control.
• Inspects equipment and performs minor repairs as needed.
• Provides roadside assistance to motorists and coordinates with the Traffic Management Center.
• Responds to incidents, including after-hours duties and on-call support.
• Participates in general maintenance tasks on the express lanes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
