Job summary

Washoe County seeks a Maintenance Worker - Roads to perform semiskilled road maintenance and minor construction on county roads under supervision.

Qualifications

• One year of full-time experience performing basic road maintenance or construction work.
• A valid driver’s license is required at the time of appointment and must be maintained for continued employment.
• A valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a tank endorsement must be obtained within six months of appointment.
• Experience with tools and equipment used in a construction environment is preferred.
• Be comfortable working in outdoor elements year-round and follow safe work practices.
