Qualifications

• Four years of full-time paid experience as a journeyman mechanic in heavy equipment, diesel engines and hydraulics.
• Class A CDL must be obtained within six months of hire and maintained for employment.
• Hazmat endorsement required to operate a lube truck and maintained for employment.
• Basic mechanic tools (toolbox included) required at appointment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain medium and heavy trucks and construction equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex hydraulic, diesel, electrical, and braking systems.
• Operate or supervise operation of heavy equipment, with training to obtain CDL if needed.
