Placements24 is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer for a 12-month internship with an established engineering consultancy in Welkom. You will gain hands-on experience in road design, planning, and supervision under experienced engineers.

Work alongside professionals, develop practical transportation engineering skills, and contribute to transportation networks while learning cutting-edge techniques and pursuing career growth.

Qualifications

• A completed BEng or BSc degree in Civil Engineering.
• A keen interest in roads and transportation engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and willingness to learn.

Responsabilités

• Assist senior engineers in design and planning of road projects, including geometric design and pavement analysis.
• Participate in site visits and construction supervision under mentorship.
• Conduct data collection, analysis, and preliminary investigations for new road projects.
• Prepare draft technical reports, drawings, and specifications under guidance.
• Learn and apply software tools for road design and traffic analysis.
• Support the project team to meet schedules and quality standards.
