Job summary

David Evans and Associates, Inc. seeks an Internship in Roads and Highways to join the Summer 2027 Transportation team in Portland or Salem, OR and additional locations.

You will work on multidisciplinary projects, perform calculations, develop construction documents, and gain mentorship through real-world engineering tasks. The role requires pursuing an undergraduate Civil Engineering degree (ABET-accredited) with at least 2 years of coursework, and familiarity with MS Office and design

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergrad degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum 2 years of completed coursework required.
• Experience with design software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and design of roadway projects.
• Support engineering calculations, plan prep, and cost estimates.
• Develop plans using Bentley OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD/C3D, and other tools.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in site visits.
