Placements24 is offering a Civil Engineering Internship focusing on municipal infrastructure in Paarl. The program is designed for enthusiastic students or recent graduates eager to gain practical experience in designing, managing, and overseeing essential public works projects.

You will work closely with experienced civil engineers, gaining exposure to various aspects of municipal service delivery and infrastructure development, including water, sanitation, and roads.

Formación

• Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering.
• Strong academic record with fundamental civil engineering principles.
• Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD) is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Eagerness to contribute to municipal infrastructure projects.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in design and preparation of drawings for municipal infrastructure projects (water, sewer, roads).
• Support preparation of technical reports, specifications, and tender documents under supervision.
• Conduct site visits to observe construction activities and assist with site inspections.
• Perform basic calculations and data analysis for design and feasibility studies.
• Learn and utilize CAD software and other engineering tools for drafting and documentation.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions.
