Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in Fort Worth, USA, is seeking a Supervisor, Dispatch for Road Transport US to lead weekend operations and back up the Manager during weekdays.

You will oversee dispatchers, optimize routing, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and coordinate with customers, brokers and internal teams to maintain on-time pickups and deliveries.

The role requires DOT/HOS knowledge, experience with TMS/ELD, and strong leadership in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in transportation, logistics, or dispatch operations.
• 2+ years supervising drivers, dispatchers, or fleet operations.
• Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and Hours of Service regulations.
• Experience with TMS, ELDs, routing tools, and load tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Back-up to the Manager, provide operational leadership Mon-Fri.
• Lead and schedule dispatchers and operators for weekend operations.
• Ensure freight assignments, routing, and dispatch are safe and efficient.
• Oversee route planning, driver utilization, and HOS compliance.
• Communicate with customers, brokers, and internal teams for on-time pickups.
• Monitor KPIs like on-time, driver utilization, deadhead, and dwell time.
