Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Fort Worth is seeking a Supervisor, Dispatch Transportation to oversee driver operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver safe, on-time transportation services. You will lead a team of drivers, coordinate routing, and partner with customer service to meet service levels.

Role requires strong leadership, DOT knowledge, and experience in transportation or logistics operations with proficiency in MS Office and TMS tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
• Previous experience in transportation operations, fleet management or logistics required.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience within transportation or logistics operations preferred.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership and team management skills; ability to motivate and guide driver teams.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to operational detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced transportation environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical mindset to evaluate performance and identify improvements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide leadership to a team of drivers, including performance monitoring and coaching.
• Conduct regular driver performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a collaborative team environment emphasizing safety and high performance.
• Address and resolve driver-related operational issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Plan, review, and optimize transportation routes for fuel efficiency and on-time delivery.
• Monitor conditions such as traffic and weather and adjust operations to maintain reliability.
• Ensure driver compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular driver meetings focused on safety and operational updates.
• Collaborate with customer service and operations teams to resolve delivery issues.
• Provide training on company technology platforms and operational systems.
• Review and approve operational documentation and records.
• Perform additional duties to support business operations.
