Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in El Paso, TX is seeking a Supervisor, Operations, Road Transport US to lead daily transportation, dispatch, freight brokerage, and customer service activities. You will direct a team, coordinate carrier capacity, and drive performance and service quality.

This role requires strong leadership, a track record in logistics, and the ability to develop staff while ensuring DOT and FMCSA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years in transportation, dispatch, logistics, or freight brokerage.
• Experience leading and developing employees; knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily transportation, dispatch, freight brokerage, and customer service activities to ensure efficient execution and objectives.
• Lead, coach, and develop assigned operations employees; set priorities and monitor performance.
• Monitor shipment activity, load status, service performance, and adjust priorities as needed.
• Coordinate freight execution and carrier capacity, including dispatching loads and negotiating rates.
• Act as primary escalation point for customer, carrier, and system issues and resolve promptly.
• Build strong customer relationships by understanding account requirements and expectations.
• Oversee onboarding and SOPs; support process improvements and compliance.
