Job summary

Alliance Material Handling Inc. is hiring a Full Time Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and related equipment. You will start your day from home and travel directly to customer sites within the territory; this is not a remote role.

Qualifications

• Experience as forklift mechanic, diesel mechanic, or equipment technician.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Your own tools.
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs and work in various positions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts (electric, gas, LP)
• Service industrial batteries and chargers
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Travel to customer sites throughout the day
• Communicate directly with customers on repairs and recommendations
• All other responsibilities/duties as assigned

PLEASE NOTE: This is a field-based position. Applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Youngstown , Ohio, as they will travel directly to customer locations throughout the territory. This is not a remote position.

Compensation: Starting at $24/hr, based on experience
